Canada’s Parliament, From across the river

My post of Canada’s Parliament Building, is from across the river.  It was taken while visiting the Museum of Civilization.  My first two posts were Canada’s Parliament From Above and Canada’s Parliament From Above–A side view.  For this pictures, I used a different lens.

The Enigma at the Canadian War Museum

Recently, during my stay in Ottawa, I visited the Canadian War Museum, and one of the most interesting Items I was able to view, was the Enigma machine, seen blow.

The model pictures, is the 4 rotor configuration, and the picture was taken with a shallow depth of field in order to enhance the mystery behind it.

Taken with my Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G at f/1.8, ISO 500, 1/13s

The Queen's Lantern, Canadian Museum of Nature, Ottawa, ON

The Queen's Lantern

A visit to the Canadian Museum of Nature

On Thursday, I had the opportunity to spend some time at the Canadian Museum of Nature, and was able to take a few hundred pictures. My Favorites were of the Queen' Lantern, which was the replacement for the Old Tower of this historic building. During the week, I will post some more pictures taken inside the Museum... but for now.. here is the queens lantern.
