Chicago’s Willis (Sears) Tower

One of the best known buildings in the world is Chicago’s Wills Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower).  Until recently, it was the tallest building in the United states, (but will hold that title until the new World Trade Centre in NYC actually opens).

My favorite feature of Willis Tower is this:

Warning to the Faint at heart, or those with Vertigo, Look and the next few pictures at your own risk.

So to put those boxes in perspective, They’re up on the 103rd floor., and here’s 2 views from “the Box!”  In this first post below, I’m standing on the edge, with my camera out taking the picture.Chicago_Willis1_ND70480

And in this picture, I’m actually standing “on air”  (That’s my shoe) looking down and taking this picture!.Chicago_Willis2_ND70489

Now here’s another view from the river, to put the boxes in eve more perspective,
